Monday 10.15

  • My college applications are due in the next two weeks, therefore, I spent this day working on them.

Tuesday 10.16

  • As an ISM II student, I went to Memorial High School to help the Professional Communications class with interviews. As someone somewhat experienced with interviews from a high school student perspective, I tried my best to help them with constructive feedback and examples from scenarios I have been through. I did not do this in my speech class and I really believe that it will help them.

Wednesday 10.17

  • I brainstormed various idea to use for my presentation on Thursday. As an ISM I student I did a quick trip to a physical place and this year I decided to challenge myself and therefore I decided to take my class on a quick trip through our childhood.

Thursday 10.18

  • Completed an interview assessment, due on Friday, regarding my interview with a consultant at SMD Consulting and Accounting

  • Presented a quick trip presentation lasting 4-5 minutes about the various things we experienced as children such as the books we used to read, the movies/shows we watched, and the phoneless environment we lived in.

Friday 10.19

  • My college applications are due in the next two weeks, therefore, I spent this day working on them.

Reflection:

  • This week was mostly focusing on my presentation. I really want to take the opportunity to use my ISM II year to take an extra effort to make my presentations unique really focusing on the things I need to work on. Other than that, I also really enjoyed interviewing the Speech class students. Not only did I feel really grateful to have experienced interviewing through ISM, but I also loved to help the students out who were in a very similar position as me when I first practiced interviewing.

Action/Goals:

  • Schedule 2 interviews

  • Send thank you cards to professionals I interviewed with

  • Get Research or Interview Assessment done early
